Hey everybody! Kicking off a new format here. I've been in Massachusetts two months as of today and I've had a really challenging and rewarding time so far. I'm really missing St. Louis, and really loving my new home too. I'm going to keep it short and show y'all how my new farm site is unfolding. Might be safe to say I'm working harder than ever. Happy spring!
First few weeks were spent building this high tunnel. Really wanted to get it up asap as I'm getting ready for farmers markets so I had to drive all those steel posts into frozen ground. Took a tumble off an icy scaffolding one day. Cracked a rib at some point. I've got crops ready to harvest this week though! It's 20' x 72' with 50' dedicated to in ground production and the rest is mostly for propagation and a wash-and-pack area. I'm having a good time!
Daily pockets of found trash.
Top to bottom, left to right - outdoor propagation, basement propagation, first round of tunnel crops, row cover on cold nights, field beds, mizuna, green onion transplants, walk-in cooler drawings, poster idea, us dweebs playing a contra dance in STL on new years eve (Keith Dudding, me, Cale Martin).
Don't have a whole lot of art stuff to show this round but I'll get back to it! Print stock is a little lower than usual but there's still plenty to choose from - louisbicycle.com.
Thank for looking!
